Scrotoplasty: Recovery

Scrotoplasty: Recovery

  • Swelling of the scrotum can be significant and takes several weeks to settle.
  • Wear snug briefs or a scrotal support. Ice for 20 minutes at a time over the first 48 hours.
  • You may go home with a dressing or a small drain. Care for them as you were shown.
  • Shower after 48 hours unless told otherwise. Stitches dissolve on their own.
  • No sex, heavy lifting, or straddle activities for about 4 to 6 weeks.
