In his words

Most of the men I see are dealing with something that came after something else: an injury, cancer treatment, or an operation that didn't hold. Many have been living with it for years. My job is to explain what's going on in plain terms, lay out every reasonable option, including not operating, and then do the work carefully if we decide surgery is right.

Outside the hospital

When he's not in clinic or the operating room, he's with his family, out for a run, skiing, on the water, or looking for a good cup of coffee.
