MALE SEXUAL RESTORATION & RESTORATIVE UROLOGY
A private, step-by-step approach. When pills and injections don't work or cause side effects, an inflatable penile implant is a reliable option.

A walkthrough from Dr. Badkhshan for patients already trained in clinic: vial handling, sterile preparation, safe injection sites, and technique. Always use the dose you were prescribed.
1. PREPARATION & DOSE
Sterile Technique & Titration
Roll vial gently between palms; never shake. Clean vial top with alcohol and draw prescribed dose using an ultra-fine 29–31G insulin syringe.
2. ANATOMICAL SAFETY
10:00 & 2:00 Clock Positions
Inject strictly into the lateral corpus cavernosum at 10 or 2 o’clock. Avoid the dorsal midline (neurovascular bundle) and ventral urethra.
3. ONSET & SAFETY PROTOCOL
5–15 Min Onset & Priapism Care
Erection typically initiates within 5–15 minutes and lasts 30–60 minutes. Apply firm pressure for 3–5 min post-injection. If erection exceeds 4 hours, follow clinic priapism protocol.

Can anyone tell I have an implant?
No. Every part is inside the body. When it's deflated, the penis looks and hangs naturally.
Will sensation or orgasm change?
No. The implant sits inside the erectile chambers and doesn't affect the nerves for sensation. Orgasm and ejaculation stay the same as before surgery.
Do I have to try other treatments first?
Usually pills and injections come first. An implant becomes the right choice when those don't work well enough, cause side effects, or don't fit your life.
How long does an implant last?
Many years. Like any mechanical device, some eventually need a repair or replacement, which is usually a simpler operation.
What is recovery like?
It's outpatient surgery. Most men are back to desk work within 1 to 2 weeks and can start using the implant around 4 to 6 weeks.
