Accessibility & Non-Discrimination
Our approach
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Pages are built to work with keyboard navigation and screen readers, with a skip link, visible focus outlines, descriptive link labels, and readable text and color contrast.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is ongoing work. Some content, such as diagrams or the self-assessment questionnaires, may not yet work perfectly with every assistive technology. The site is reviewed regularly, and problems are fixed as they're found.
Accommodations for your visit
If you need a medical interpreter, a sign language interpreter, or another accommodation for an appointment, let the office know when you schedule at (516) 535-1900.
Non-discrimination
Care is provided through NYU Langone Health, which does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex in its health programs and activities. Its full notice, including free language assistance, is on its website.
